At Waterstone Clinic, we are here to support you every step of the way. We understand that our patients’ journeys are unique, and so too are their needs. Most people don’t anticipate needing fertility treatment, and many can find the process of fertility treatment challenging. Our Wellness at Waterstone Clinic aims to provide a variety of options for support and relaxation for patients.
Fertility Counselling
The counselling session will be built around your needs. Patients often discuss their feelings and coping mechanisms around fertility treatment. Patients can also discuss decisions around their treatment as it is often helpful to discuss them with a non-medical professional.

Mindfulness
These short meditations on the playlist below (each about 20 minutes long) help to promote relaxation. They can be listened to at any time during the day, or last thing at night to help you fall asleep.
Our fertility counsellor has created some videos below with grounding and breathing exercises to get you started.
7 Day MindfulIVF Programme
Breathing Meditation
A simple breathing exercise, such as this one with our counsellor Marian, can help you relax because it makes your body feel like it does when you are already relaxed. It is one of the best ways to lower stress in the body.
Grounding Meditation
“Grounding” is a mindfulness practice that can help pull you away from negative or challenging emotions to refocus your mind on your present moment. Our counsellor Marian guides you to focus your attention on the physical world around you.
