New Consultant Post

Waterstone Clinic is delighted to announce that Dr Moya McMenamin, Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, has joined the team. Dr McMenamin graduated from UCD Medical School in 2003 with honours and completed specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Ireland in the Rotunda Hospital, National Maternity Hospital Holles Street, University Hospital Galway and Cork University Maternity Hospital.

After developing an interest in the care of couples with fertility problems, she worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Reproductive Medicine in Merrion Fertility Clinic/National Maternity Hospital, Dublin. During this time she undertook HRB (Health Research Board) funded research in endometriosis. This work culminated in the award of MD from UCD and results from this research have been presented internationally.

Dr McMenamin also works as Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with special interest in Reproductive Medicine in Cork University Maternity Hospital. Her specific areas of interest include endometriosis, minimal access surgery and intrapartum care.
