Embryologists (Junior & Senior)
Waterstone Clinic is one of the leading providers of Assisted Conception Services in Ireland, carrying out over 1,200 fresh and frozen IVF/ICSI cycles per annum, in its state of the art facilities.
We are seeking Senior Embryologists for Cork and Dublin and a Junior Embryologist in Dublin to join our growing team.
Waterstone Clinic offers a full range of assisted conception treatments including embryo biopsy, egg vitrification, oocyte/sperm donation and Micro TESE sperm retrieval. As the first established clinic in Ireland to be licensed for PGT, we have a successful and growing genetic screening programme.
Applicants for the SENIOR EMBRYOLOGIST position must possess a minimum of a BSc in a Biological Science and have at least 3 years clinical embryology experience. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate competence in all laboratory aspects of ART, including vitrification, and possess the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Applicants for the JUNIOR EMBRYOLOGIST position must possess at least a BSc in a Biological Science and ideally have gained some laboratory experience in a junior position. The successful applicant will preferably have Andrology training and be able to demonstrate their competence in egg collection procedures.
For both positions, applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. These skills are essential as all laboratory staff communicate daily and directly with patients and clinical staff. Applicants should have experience of working with a quality management system and knowledge of the EU Tissues and Cells Directives would be beneficial.
Attendance at local and international conferences and workshops is encouraged. Weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
