Embryologist
We are seeking trained Embryologists to join our expanding laboratory team in Cork, Ireland.
Waterstone Clinic is one of the leading providers of Assisted Conception Services in Ireland with over 20 years of experience in delivering quality, patient-centered services. It has a national presence with a number of sites across the country. The group carries out over 1000 fresh IVF/ICSI cycles per annum, in its state-of-the-art facilities in Cork.
Waterstone Clinic offers a full range of assisted conception treatments including embryo biopsy, oocyte vitrification, oocyte/sperm donation, and Micro TESE sperm retrieval. As one of the first established clinics in Ireland to be licensed for PGT, we have a successful and growing genetic screening programme.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as all laboratory team communicates daily and directly with patients and clinical staff.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical embryology experience
- Competence in all laboratory aspects of ART, including vitrification
- Experience working with a quality management system, and knowledge of the EU Tissues and Cells Directives would be beneficial
Education Required
- A minimum of a BSc in Biological Science or equivalent
Attendance at local and international conferences and workshops is encouraged. Weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
