Dr Dorota Wickiewicz

Dr Dorota Wickiewicz is a highly experienced Consultant in Reproductive Medicine. She joined the team in 2021. Previous to Waterstone Clinic, she held the position of Fertility Consultant in the Galway Fertility Clinic from 2018. She trained in the Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of The Medical University in Wroclaw and held the position of Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in  2006 and worked in a large IVF unit in Poland the European Centre of Motherhood, (InviMed Clinic) in Wroclaw.  Dr Wickiewicz’s interests and expertise centre on the causes of female infertility, especially the effects of endometriosis on fertility and polycystic ovary syndrome as a common disorder causing subfertility and she is interested in all new infertility treatments and methods that may positively influence patient outcomes. She also has a special interest in the in-vitro maturation method.

Dr Wickiewicz is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE). Dr Wickiewicz will be primarily based at Waterstone Clinic Cork providing a full range of fertility treatments and services, ranging from fertility testing and simple treatments to help couples get started along their journey, to specialised services such as IVF, egg freezing and egg donation treatments.
