Ramona Mihart is an embryologist in the laboratory. Her main interests include reproductive genetics, and safety and quality in Assisted Reproduction Techniques. She was involved in the validation of an oocyte vitrification system that has been introduced in the clinic and is a central member of the embryo biopsy team that is offering our successful PGD/PGS programme.
Ramona graduated with a BSc. in Biology from the University of Bucharest in 2003. She subsequently completed her MSc. in Genetics, Microbiology and Bio-technologies where her final year thesis focused on embryo biopsy and PGD/PGS. Ramona gained clinical experience in embryology in fertility clinics in Romania before joining Waterstone Clinic in 2011. She successfully completed the ESHRE Senior Clinical Embryologist exam in 2013.
