Dr Tim Dineen
Head of Laboratory Services
Dr. Tim Dineen is one of the founding members of Waterstone Clinic, having worked at the clinic since its inception in 2002. Tim was awarded the Senior Clinical Embryologist certificate from the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) in 2008. He has been involved in the publication of scientific papers as well as contributing as author and co-author to chapters of books dedicated to ART.
Tim has a keen interest in male infertility as well as being a core member of the clinic’s PGD and PGS programme. He is a former chair of ICE and was involved as one of Ireland’s representatives on the European Assisted Conception Consortium, established to oversee the implementation of the EU directive on Tissues and Cells in the different EU member states. He is a member of IFS, ICE, ESHRE and ACE and has helped to establish a strong link between Waterstone clinic and NYU Fertility in New York.
Tim graduated with a BSc and PhD from the National University of Ireland in Galway before training as an embryologist and subsequently graduating with a Masters in Genetic Counselling from University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff.
Waterstone Clinic is regulated and licensed by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA), TE-007. We are inspected by the HPRA to ensure compliance with European tissues and cells legislation.
